A nearly 3 days in the rain, Tropical Cyclone Fay (or tropical storm, a category of hurricane) finally goes to states west. There were 9 dead yet and a lot of flooding. Being accustomed to the mistral in southern France, I did not find this violent hurricane and yet it remained stationary for 3 days on the Orlando area. Most of the time it is the mobile homes that are damaged (and there are many in Florida).
As against, he did not venture outside because better with the floods, alligators, snakes and other reptiles walking in the streets, even a Lamentin was seen in a neighborhood!
